Verisys

Verysis project homepage

Verisys lets users register asset details and supporting information, then share a hash that others can check through a public verification flow. The app supports physical and non-physical asset categories and uses Internet Identity for authentication.

My Contributions

Built the Rust backend for asset registration, hashing, duplicate checks, verification, and stable storage.

Built the Internet Identity integration, authentication, and frontend controllers.

Worked on the registration flow, including file uploads, hashing, form behavior, and data conversion.

Extended the dashboard, verification interface, and certificate download features.

Reorganized the frontend directories and updated setup and contributor documentation

Technical Highlights
The canister stores assets and lookup indexes in Internet Computer stable structures, including indexes by category and principal. The frontend hashes uploaded files, while the backend computes an asset hash and hashes selected proof fields before storage. Candid bindings connect the React client to the Rust canister. The client generates downloadable PDF certificates.

Technologies
Rust, React, Vite, Candid, Internet Identity, Internet Computer stable structures, SHA-256, Tailwind CSS.

Outcome
The repository contains end-to-end registration, authenticated asset management, public hash verification, and certificate download flows, along with setup and architecture documentation intended to help outside contributors get started.
